The city of Breda launches a new online entrepreneurial platform BredaBusiness.com

The BredaBusiness.com’s platform has been enhanced and newly developed. The old website no longer met the needs of Breda’s entrepreneurs and the ever-growing international members. The renewed BredaBusiness contributes to the goals of the Economic Vision (2019) to profile the city as the international hotspot for Applied Technology & Creativity, drawing and retaining talent, and building a community for innovation and inspiring current SMEs to take the first steps in such fields as sustainable and digital entrepreneurship.

Deputy mayor Boaz Adank: "With BredaBusiness we make activities in our city even more evident. Entrepreneurs do not stand still in Breda. They are real go-getters. The city is in full development. BredaBusiness offers a platform to put their innovations, stories, co-creations and developments in the spotlight. And thereby creates connections and surprising collaborations between education, government and entrepreneurs.  To demonstrate concretely that we are the international hotspot for Applied Technology & Creativity!"

FROM PLATFORM TO PODCAST

The online entrepreneurial platform BredaBusiness.com is one of the channels through which the target group is reached. BredaBusiness can be seen as the label for the business market, which is increasingly taking shape through a new content strategy. For example, a BredaBusiness YouTube channel has recently been launched, a BredaBusiness LinkedIn channel and there will soon also be its own BredaBusiness podcast to listen to via Spotify. "In this way, we respond even better to the information needs and current media use of the target group. We continue to talk to that target group, whereby of course various offline resources are also used. The power of meeting is and remains physically meeting each other, but it is good that this is reinforced by a solid online approach," says alderman Adank.
